Nickelodeon Bob Driller Incident

Description

At the morning hours of 6th June 2026, viewers were woken up to Nickelodeon being hijacked during episode of 2006 Nickelodeon animated series Making Fiends "Vegetables".

Actions and sightings

While the full footage is not found yet, there are recordings from viewers recorded by their phones. A screenshot was sent to Verizon Fios service which was also sent to us.

It was described that while the episode was playing, a sort of loud drilling noise started playing. The screen froze and the screenbug dissapeared while the noise was still playing. Then an orange banner showed up reading "Something has gone wrong and we are trying to fix it. Regular programming will continue as soon as possible." in black text. The Making Fiends episode dissapears, and then a Nickelodeon logo shows up with seemingly another screenbug on the corner of the image while the banner was there and the noise was still playing. After a bit the noise stopped, and the banner and the Nickelodeon logo dissapeared. A very faint image of seemingly Bob the Builder appeared on the center of the screen while another noise started playing. Then the text "bob" appears, flickering. Everything dissapeared and then it showed a Nickelodeon technical difficulties card with the drilling noise re-playing again for a bit. Soon after the whole screen went black and then the text "This channel is currently unavailable. This may be a problem via broadcaster's end. Please try again later." shows up for around 1 hour before cutting to a Verizon FIOs card. After another hour the channel returned but the drilling noise was still playing. Then the screen got a dark filter when the noise changed. Then a black and white face appeared on the screen for 3 seconds before dissapearing with the noise still playing. Then it cuts to a freeze frame of the Making Fiends episode and then to an old Nickelodeon technical difficulties card.
